TUNNEVÄRI

Ninth graders from Koivula School were inspired by Carolus Enckell’s abstract colour art at the Pori Art Museum’s TunneVäri workshop. In the main work of the exhibition, Silence What We Seek, they dove into painting and its colours through the emotions and imagination of youth. After an introduction, the young people created their own paintings by experimenting with colours, paints and techniques in a multidisciplinary and daring way. The exhibition featured works created by the schoolchildren in the TunneVäri workshop, as well as documentary images from the workshop.
The workshop was organised by the Pedagogical and Research Unit of the Pori Art Museum and the Pori Children’s Cultural Centre.
