SPRING EXHIBITIONS OF KANKAANPÄÄ AND PORI ART SCHOOLS
PRESS RELEASE
Satakunta is home to two art schools, which is quite rare in Finland. The Kankaanpää Art School operates as a full-time, three-year day school, while the Pori Art School functions as a three-year evening school. This distinction is reflected in their respective spring exhibitions. The Kankaanpää Art School showcases large-scale paintings, sculptures, and graphic works. With 47 students enrolled, the exhibition features over 200 works from all academic years. Meanwhile, the Pori exhibition presents paintings and graphic art, though sculptures are absent due to space constraints at the school.
