Studied dance in Kiel and Hamburg between 1948 and 1950 while training as a tailor. Worked as a dancer at the Kiel Theatre from 1950 to 1956. Married in 1956, left her profession, and moved to Bremerhaven, where she became a homemaker and mother of two daughters.
“Through painting, I explore psychological events and emotions from a homemaker’s perspective. The theater remains a compelling theme: a world of radiance, self-presentation, self-actualization, drama, and poetry. As a self-taught artist, I aim to depict environmental realities in my work. Alongside content, I find joy in meticulously crafting details.”

Exhibitions: Since 1968, multiple exhibitions across northern and western Germany.
