Find Peace in Art

Non-stop workshop 11 AM–6 PM. Guided relaxation session 1:00–1:30 PM (in Finnish) | Dance-movement therapist Kaisa Selin. Exhibition tour at 3 PM. Free entry.

“Wherever you are, I hope you have found peace,” says the second piece in the museum’s summer exhibition, Grief: A Love Letter, by artist Grace Ndiritu, dedicated to her late mother and Mike Kelley, who passed away in 2012. In line with this theme, the museum’s event day will delve into the concept of peace—what it is and where to find it.

On the event day, you can take a moment to pause during a guided relaxation session led by dance-movement therapist Kaisa Selin from Dance Therapy Piuma, starting at 1 PM. Take this time for yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings. No prior registration is required, but please arrive on time. The session lasts about 30 minutes (in Finnish). After the relaxation session, you can immerse yourself in contemplating your own source of peace through art. Welcome!

Free admission. Exhibition tour in English at 3 PM on the event day.
Note! Children under school age must attend the event with an adult. The event is well-suited for joint activities between children and adults.
