Pori Art Museum's exhibitions in summer 2024

Pori Art Museum organizes two exhibitions in alternative locations while the museum building is closed under renovation until January 2025. A temporary public sculpture by artist Hanna Marno who is living and working in Siikainen in Satakunta region will be displayed in the newly opened Art Square in renovated Eteläranta river shore. The work is the first piece to be produced as a part of the museum’s new KORSI commissions program. Pori Art Museum’s other main event in 2024 will be exhibited in the premises of Pori Art School in the city center. Mike Kelley’s movie 'Day is Done' is screened in the old gymnasium/drawing room of the art school and Grace Ndiritu’s 'Grief: A Love Letter' billboard is displayed in the inner courtyard of the building.
